fallin off .. but an update

I totally fell off the 90 day challenge .. Im gonna have to try again some time soon and really put it down.
Last weekend I was at the Wizard World Comicbook Convention here in LA with my friend Matt "AmericanNinjaX" Humphreys.. It was a pretty good time.. met a few Kids from Deviant art and saw some other friends as well.. Alberto Ruiz, Patrick Morgan and Was reintroduced to Stephen Silver ( a really talented and nice guy!) It wasn't so much a money maker but it was good to touch base with some folks and see some great art.
In the next few weeks I am hoping to produce some great art and keep practicing hard.. As well as rock some more of these art battles.. Im currently participating in 2 over at the SketchTavern ( Sketchtavern.com/forum ) and crossin my fingers to do well enough to continue on..
anyhow.. Expect to see some new work in the next few days ... sorry about fallin off there... take it easy...

King Nebuchaneezar.. the nutty!

So I entered a tournament over at sketchtavern and my assignment was to draw King Nebuchaneezar.. this is what I came up with ( it's from part of the bible where God makes Neb. live like an animal in the wilderness for being too full of himself and he takes on animalistic attributes ) Hope it doesnt dissappoint!

I find it really hard to keep all the life I find in my drawings "Alive" using Illustrator.. but l like this one.. I think Im getting the hang of the program better, now if I could only figure out how to use all the brushes.. that'd be helpful.. Hope yas digs

poopy weekend evolution 6, 7, 8

Im a slacker.... Im sorry... :(... With the rain the weekend brought a lack of inspiration and soreness...but here are some diddies I thought were worth sharing.. inks and some PPg stuff adn watching superman stuff too.. so... I'll get back on the ball.. had a great day .. picked up my portfolio at Nickelodeon got a relaly nice letter saying they'd keep me on file.. so I took the folio and resume over to cartoon network where I popped in on the old Camp Lazlo crew, It was fantastic seeing everyone again. Hopefully there will be something there or somewhere to get me back to work.. :) anyhow.. without further adieu...

So I didnt get around to inking any of these or cleaning anything up even.. maybe today??? Not sure.. anyhow.. some of my favorites... I'm pulling alot of inspiration from many different sources even day to day.. Yesterday it was the work of "Spoon and White" and "Space Cake" comics from france... fun stuff..and totally full of inspiration
